Wisconsin

Richland Center, located in the heart of the Driftless Region of southwest Wisconsin, has rolling hills, picturesque valleys, and meandering streams, making it a scenic location for our cabin. The primary goal of Renewed Hope is to help people recovering from or living with cancer to find renewed hope, strengthen family ties, and move forward with their lives. Only a few hours’ drive from Chicago or Minneapolis, but a whole world away, this quiet retreat may be just right for families who find traveling difficult or who want a getaway that is still close to home.

The Driftless Region of southwest Wisconsin was untouched by the glaciers that covered most of the northeastern U.S. between 10 million and 110 million years ago. As the glaciers melted, the resulting rivers and streams carved the valleys out of the Cambrian Limestone and sandstone, exposing layers of rock up to 500 million years old.

Our Wisconsin cabin is nestled along the Pine River in Richland County. The Pine River snakes down one of these valleys past large rock outcroppings on its way to meet up with the Wisconsin River. Year round, the scenery is breathtaking, and the stars are brilliant thanks to our dark skies at night. From our cabin, nature is at your doorstep – deer, turkeys, bald eagles, and sandhill cranes are just a few of our neighbors. See LittleCabinsOnThePine.com for more information.
